I am over the moon, we had such a great time at Hamptworth, thanks to Nick and Jay Jay.
Nick said some wonderful things about Jay Jay :)
She was a little star hunting lovely (per normal) and she took direction on the blind dummies well. She even had distraction when running out for one of the blinds as she flushed a rabbit, off to the side of her and thankfully a few feet away from her. With command, she took directions and started hunting again for the blind dummy. I was a very happy with her.
She also worked on pigeons. Nick put a pigeon out when I was quartering Jay Jay the opposite way to make sure Jay Jay could not see. I turned and sent her to pick up the scent line, which she did, taking the line and then holding the area really well. She stayed tight in that area with NO Commands needed and then came back with it.
She does prefer her warm game :)
We then went to do some lake work with her, which was needed just to help Jay Jay cool down as it was such a lovely day.
The Canadian geese that were in the lake giving her the evil eye, threw her for a bit, but she soon got over them and did her flying leaps into the water and retrieving dummies in the lake from a long distance away on the bank :)
One very proud Gary as well. That little girl is a sweetie to me.
Oh, the only downside, no camera as the card was full :(
